Playbook Builder is a skill for Claude. Each time you do a piece of work with Claude, it writes the steps, the rules, the checks and the traps into a playbook. Next time you, a teammate or Claude follows it and gets it right the first time.

Add it to Claude

In Claude, open Settings → Capabilities → Skills, choose Upload skill and pick the zip. Make sure it is switched on.

No Upload button? Skills need a paid Claude plan with code execution switched on, on the same Capabilities page.

Give it a folder

Best in the Claude desktop app: switch to Cowork and connect a folder, for example Documents/Playbooks. Claude keeps your playbooks there.

In a normal chat it still works. Claude hands you the files at the end.

Every rule carries its reason and a check anyone can run. When you share a playbook, Claude sends the method only and scans it for private details first.
